Day 1: Delhi/Kolkata - Dibrugarh Airport - Tinsukia

On arrival at Dibrugarh Airport, transfer to a hotel in Tinsukia for your overnight stay.

Days 2 to 8: Namdapha National Park
​
Spend these few days exploring different areas of Namdapha National Park, doing your bit of birding in all possible camps sites available here. Overnight stays will be arranged inside the Park, letting you experience the true nature of this remote paradise.
Day 9: Namdapha National Park - Tinsukia
​
Head to Tinsukia and stop at a wetland for a few hours of birding before retiring to your hotel for an overnight stay.
Day 10: Tinsukia - Roing
​
Board a ferry to cross the mighty Brahmaputra river, the lifeline of this region. Drive to Roing, situated in Lower Dibang Valley of Arunachal Pradesh. Enjoy walking around the small town, not missing any opportunity to spot a few more birds as the sun sets. Stay overnight at Roing in a lodge.

Days 11 to 13: Roing - Mayudia
​
Drive to Mayudia, located at an altitude of about 8000 ft amidst lofty hills, lush green forests and breathtaking landscapes. Expect to witness unique bird species. Stay overnight at Mayudia in a lodge.

Day 14: Mayudia - Roing
​
On the scenic drive back to Roing, stop at a few points for more birding. Stay overnight at Roing in a lodge.

Day 15: Roing - Nizamghat - Tinsukia
​
Drive to reach Nizamghat, a stopover enroute to Tinsukia, to encounter some of the diverse avifauna of this area. Later, drive to Tinsukia for your overnight stay at a hotel.

Day 16: Tinsukia - Day trip to Dibru-Saikhowa National Park
​
A full day of birding at the tropical moist deciduous forest and grasslands of Maguree-Motapung wetland and Dibru-Saikhowa National Park. Drive back to Tinsukia for your overnight stay.

Day 17: Tinsukia - Day trip to Digboi
​
Drive to an abandoned oil field in Digboi, an important birding area in this region. Later, visit the Maguree-Motapung wetland area one final time before heading back to Tinsukia for your overnight stay.

Days 18 to 20: Tinsukia - Khonoma Tragopan Wildlife Sanctuary
​
Drive to Khonoma Tragopan Wildlife Sanctuary, a well-preserved patch of subtropical broadleaf forest. Explore this fascinating forests walking through the trails of this community-initiated conservation sanctuary. Stay overnight at a lodge.
​
Days 21 to 24: Khonoma Tragopan Wildlife Sanctuary - Kaziranga National Park
​
Drive to Kaziranga National Park. Explore the different ranges of this Park on jeeps and elephants. In between safaris, you can also visit nearby tea gardens and villages to experience the charming culture of this region. Stay overnight at a lodge.

Day 25: Kaziranga National Park - Guwahati
​
Transfer to Guwahati airport for your onward journey. Before heading to the airport, visit the Guwahati Garbage Dump and Deepor Bill Wildlife Sanctuary for your final birding experience in Northeast India.
